About
The Mayfair Green Route is a resident-led initiative that sets out a concept for creating a mile-long green corridor connecting Park Lane to Regent Street, passing through Mount Street Gardens and Berkeley Square and re-establishing the historic connection between the churches of the original St George’s parish.
The continuous green thread will be comprised of individual projects, such as pocket gardens, green streets and green roofs, that together bring nature and biodiversity into the streets of Mayfair, promote health, well-being and inclusivity and mitigate climate change. This preliminary stage set out the concept plan and first project, a micro garden at Aldford Street.
