About

The HSBC Cities of the Future Conference was designed as a platform to empower and connect its 400 delegates hence the strapline  #SmarterConnections. Delegates become the Future Citizens of a Smart City ecosystem that is data-driven and responsive. The event positioned HSBC as the facilitator of collaboration and the enabler of innovation. Connecting Future Citizens to their Future Cities.

Event graphics are inspired by urban design mapping symbols and HSBC financial graphs, acting as devices that make seamless connections across digital, film, print and the event space.

The event itself reflects the city square (meeting, gathering), and city hall (auditorium) with designated exhibit areas for key topics such as mobility and energy and is produced with recycled material.
